Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Chamak Studio (Chamak Studio (Proprietor: Abhishek Daryani), an initiative by Abhi and Mahi) collects and why, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account: your mobile number or email address, used to log you in.
• Usage: your credit balance, purchases and the number of photos processed.
• Payments: handled by Razorpay. We receive the order and payment ID, never your card or UPI details.
• Photos: the photos you upload and the images we make from them are kept for 30 days in private storage so you can see and download them again under History, then deleted. Our team may look at them to help you with support and to check image quality. We never use them to train any software.

Why we use it

To provide the service, log you in, keep track of credits, process payments, prevent misuse and answer your support requests. We do not sell your data or use your photos to train machine-learning models.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run the service for us: Supabase (accounts and database, Mumbai region), Vercel (website hosting), Modal (photo processing), Google (Gemini API, which creates the images), Razorpay (payments) and our SMS/email providers. They may process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open. Payment records are kept for 8 years as Indian tax law requires. Ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello.chamakstudio@gmail.com. Our grievance officer is Abhishek Daryani. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
